Anna Nugent

Anna is an actress, producer and facilitator. She is now based in Dublin, Ireland. Anna has worked throughout the community, from prisons to corporations, teaching drama and ballroom dance, including teaching Acting for Adults for Art House Productions in Jersey City. She has worked in numerous summer and after-school programs developing short drama performances, such as an adaptation of BEN’S TRUMPET, and directing full scale productions of plays and musicals. Anna taught theatre at a school in Boston, directing mainstage plays for both middle and high school students. She has further honed her facilitation skills with ArtsTrain, a QQI Level 6, year-long training program with Youth Theatre Ireland. In 2015 she created the verbatim play LIVING GRACE, featuring the voices of 12 women from the Marble Collegiate Church community. The play received a developmental reading as part of The Puzzle theatre festival. Theatre credits include: The McGowan Trilogy (Best Actress Award ‘1st Irish’ Festival, NY); Irish premieres of The Laramie Project (Irish premiere), Collected Stories (Irish premiere),  and Boy Gets Girl; ‘Helen of Troy’ in Shock & Awe,’Emily Webb’ in Our Town, and ‘Ophelia’ in Hamlet, ‘Sister James’ in Doubt and the US premiere of Derek O’Conner’s one-woman show Misappropriated. Her screen credits include upcoming movie We Have Always Lived in the Castle, TV’s Law & Order: SVU, and award-winning documentary She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry. Anna trained at the Gaiety School of Acting. Anna co-produces the NEWvember New Plays Festival with AboutFACE Ireland, of which she is a founding member and Co-Artistic Director.

Amy Elise de Jong

Amy is a teacher and performer based out of Jersey City, NJ. Recent credits include The A Cappella Murder Mystery, written and produced by her a cappella group Cabaret Sauvignon for the Midtown International Theatre Festival. Amy is a New Jersey State Certified teacher and taught second and third grade at Mustard Seed School for 8 years. Amy has worked in various roles at summer camps and after school programs and as a puppeteer for Puppetonia: Land of Music and Puppets. She loves telling stories and exploring creative expression with kids of all ages!
